Lee Binz, The HomeScholar
My name is Lee
Binz. I independently homeschooled my two boys for
eight years, from third grade through high school graduation.
Now
both boys are off to college, having both earned four year,
full-tuition scholarships, and I have started my new career as a
"veteran" homeschool consultant!
Upon my "graduation" I made two changes. First, I volunteered
to
be Secretary of the Washington Homeschool
Organization (WHO) and I
started my homeschool consulting business, The HomeScholar.
My mission is "helping parents homeschool through high school."
I have a three core beliefs about homeschooling that drive my
business:
- I believe that homeschooling provides the best possible learning environment.
- I believe that every child deserves a college-prep education, whether or not they choose to go to college.
- I believe that parents are capable of providing a superior education to their children.
I am not a certified teacher. I do not judge your homeschool or evaluate your children. I am just an experienced homeschool mom who has been where you are and lived to tell about it! I have the knowledge you need to succeed in homeschooling high school and beyond!
Call me (1-888-LEE-2HELP) and let's talk about how I can help you!

"I head up a large homeschool group in North West Arkansas. Your work is so key to keeping the homeschooled child at home during such a formidable time as high school. It breaks my heart to see mamas spend so much time and effort schooling the early years only to put the children back in school right at the time where their understanding and commitment to our Lord is beginning to come together. So many times I've seen these sweet children get pulled into the "world thinking" and not have the tools to deal with the issues. I believe high school is the time where logic and worldview discussions can begin to come together in the mind of a young adult. You have already been a blessing to me, I cannot wait for the high school years. I feel like I know you already especially since I have two boys.
Thank you very much."
