Julia has a great idea to give your teens success (and more of the all-important SLEEP):
We have a “late start” day every Thursday and the teens love it! Since we try to start the home-school days at 8, having that once a week “sleep in” is a real treat for all. My word of encouragement is don’t start off trying the impossible – under-promise, over-deliver – as a parent/teacher and when teens set their goals. Then there are a lot more success stories!

My children and I share a love for school supplies, so we begin our new year with a trip to Walmart to stock up on new and varied school swag. We ease into the new year and our more structured schedule.
