Calendar Reminders for February

February 19, 2013

Here are some important homeschool tasks to stay on top of for the year, whether you have a middle schooler or a senior.

Seniors
Complete the FAFSA and finish college applications.  Consider senior portraits. Purchase your diploma from HomeschoolDiploma.com. Start planning the graduation party!  Suggested class: Graduate Your Homeschooler in Style

Juniors
Register now for the spring tests, either the SAT or ACT.  Plan college visits so you’ll know where you want to apply next fall. Suggested class: Finding a College

Sophomores
Plan courses for next year, being sure to cover core subjects and foreign language.  Do you need annual testing?  Start your transcript. Suggested class. Planning High School Courses

Freshmen
Learn about high school so you know what you are doing. What is College Prep? Take a class, or get a video. Suggested class:Keys to High School Success

Middle School
Learn about high school.  Too embarrassed to ask? Don’t be!  Here is what we are talking about!

12th = Senior
11th = Junior

9th = Freshman
7-8th grade = Middle School

Middle School, or Junior High, is also known as “Training Time” for Mom and Dad. Suggested class: Homeschool High School Record Keeping
