I’m reviewing your blog and just wanted to say thank you for this one. We were at home in Northern Haiti when the earthquake hit. I left the next day for 2 weeks helping near the epicenter. About 5 weeks post quake we took both our children 9 and 13 to help for 2 weeks at a field hospital. They learned a lot and I do not regret for a second that we did not do school for those couple of weeks.
The earthquake changed everyone in Haiti’s lives-we will never be the same.

I think the $10 are really adding up! The last I heard they had gotten $4 million from the text fundraiser! That’s GREAT Lisa!

I donated to the American Red Cross by texting Haiti to 90999. Though it’s only a small amount, I wanted to do something to help the people there. Wish I could do more.

Another great charity that already serves Haiti with food supplies is Feed My Starving Children. Our family goes to their facility in Aurora, IL to package food that is shipped to Haiti. You can check them out at http://www.fmsc.org .
