- Fact: All moms deal with feelings of guilt.
- Fact: At some point you will feel guilty too.
Look beyond the feeling of guilt to see if it’s TRUE guilt. Because it’s a well known principle that mothers have the ability to feel guilty about anything – whether they have something to feel guilty about or not! Mothers who don’t homeschool feel guilty too. Mothers who have grown children feel guilty, just like mothers with babies feel guilty. Feeling guilt is one of those things that just comes with the job description of “mother.” It may not have anything to do with a failure on your part. Don’t let feelings of guilt overwhelm you into feeling like you can’t homeschool. It may not be related to homeschooling at all – it may be just because you’re a mom!

I have a related article posted today on Heart of the Matter, called When Friends Stop Homeschooling. I hope it will encourage you!
