Here's another one for you... Ask Dr. Callahan. We LOVE it. We're using Algebra 1 this year (based on Harold Jacobs' Algebra) with the dvd instruction. The Callahans are college professors and homeschooled their kids as well. The videos are clear and have a humor about them. They also come with one year of email support for the kids, too. www.askdrcallahan.com

Hi DeAnna,
The only reason I didn't add Math U See is because I didn't think of it - but I'll add their math demo to the list. Good idea - thank you!
Blessings,
Lee

Thanks for the site. I noticed you didn't list Math U See under math programs. Is there a reason why? Thanks so much.

Christy,
I remember being SHOCKED when my son Kevin chose Saxon with DIVE CDs. I had avoided Saxon the whole time we homeschooled, because I didn't like the way it looked. Finally, when I let Kevin choose for himself, guess which one he liked? He chose Saxon because it had no pictures - just lots and lots of problems. He loves math problems, can you believe it? We used Saxon with DIVE because that's what HE chose. If it had been my choice, I certainly would have chosen something more colorful
Blessings,

My son was so distracted by the monotonous tone of the cd-rom he had for math. We bought a new math program with different people and he told me he really like it. Score!
