Thank you, Lee. I struggle a lot in my head about if I am “doing enough” for my high school homeschool. Hearing you say those verses eased my worry. It is so comforting to remember that God is working in all of this. That it is not just me and all my Teacher’s Guides. It is our Father working through us and equipping us to do what He leads us to do. And that these are my children given to me by God–that just takes away all the worry. What a relief!

I like what you said about God placing children exactly where they need to be.
A similar topic came up in Sunday School today.
Someone quoted someone else, so I don’t know the source of the following thought: What you do with arrows (Psalm 127:4-5) is you aim them in the right direction and give them some momentum (Proverbs 22:6). Part of our job is to find out what kind of arrows we have so we can work with God on aiming them and giving them momentum. Do we have arrows for a longbow or for a shorter hunting bow? Crossbow bolts? Euthytonon missiles? Each type has its advantages, disadvantages, and usage. Because we love our children, we know best how to work with the way they are designed.
