Most colleges say they look at the &quot;whole student.&quot;  I think that&#039;s probably true - even more true AFTER they look at test scores and GPA.  Yes, you submit applications electronically to many colleges, but I have heard that ALL student applications are looked at by a real living, breathing person.  
I&#039;m sorry about your hubby being out of work!

		<description>I&#039;m wondering something about this.  We learned the hard way during my husband&#039;s job search that real human beings don&#039;t read resumes unless a computer tells them to.  Resumes are by and large electronic nowadays.  The human types in a keyword, and if you have a *synonym* of that keyword on your resume, you *will* be overlooked even if you&#039;re the most qualified person for that job skill!  So now my husband has to re-write his resume in order to make it look good to a *computer.*  My question is twofold:

1)  Are colleges going electronic with the application process?

2) Do the people processing college applications look for certain keywords?</description>
