I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone— for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. We are living in dangerous times. Pray that our President Obama and the congress find wisdom (quickly) to help the country navigate through this economic crisis. The world is watching and waiting for what we will do. The stakes are very high indeed.
