Proverbs 4:5-6 (New International Version)
Get wisdom, get understanding;
do not forget my words or swerve from them.Do not forsake wisdom, and she will protect you;
love her, and she will watch over you.
It’s a scary world out there. I wish I could protect my children forever. Faced with almost a trillion dollars of new debt, with the government printing monopoly money like crazy, the experts say we are on the precipice of a “Great Depression.” I wish I could somehow do something that would protect my children! How can I ensure that my kids will be OK in this coming economic crisis?
Teach them! Wisdom, like love, can smooth the way for their life ahead. Get wisdom. While you’re at it, “Get understanding” and empathy for others through service opportunities. Helping others in need with give them an understanding and empathy that all the books in the world can’t buy.
Protect your children’s future using these strategies and you can’t go wrong!
