  1. Robin E. says:

I think I would be most interested in Carol Barnier’s “Help! I Fell off my Lesson Plan!”. I have been thoroughly blessed by listening to her talks from last year’s AZ’s convention, and this is one she didn’t do there.

  2. Diedre Morris says:

I find many of the subjects interesting. I would be most excited about the topic “Called to be a Missional Mom”. Our family tries to live everyday remembering we are to be always in missions, loving people like Jesus everywhere we go. My daughter is going to Nepal this summer. I guess our mission minded attitude is flowing down. :)

  3. Linda R. says:

I am sure they will all be great, but I am especially interested in Simplifying Homeschool. I think this line in the description says it all: “Learning how to get rid of distractions whether they be physical, mental, or spiritual, and prioritize our homeschools so that we can glorify God in all that we do!”

  4. Audrey says:

Only one session can be mentionned?
I have always homeschooled but I see the need for at least 7 of these wonderful sessions.

1st, “The Top 10 tips for successful homeschooling” sounds like the just the right medicine for a mid-year boost.

2nd, “Help, I fell off my lesson plan”. What if you fall off the lesson plans for MORE than one day……

3rd, “Loving Living Math” may help students see the practicality of learning math!

4th, “Resistant Learners” may allow me to encourage the children who just don’t seem to enjoy this school experience.

5th, “Missional Mom”, is one near to my heart. This is NOT just about academics. We can influence the world around us.

6th, “Simplying homeschooling” can be the backbone of making homeschooling easier.

7th, “Growing Your Child’s Writing Vocabulary”. Reading and writing can be so much more developed if the child’s vocabulary is developed beyond the basic words!

As you can see, I would love to experience this seminar to be encouraged in our homeschooling journey!!

  5. Jayne DeKraker says:

All of these sound great, but I’m especially interested in “Help! I Fell off My Lesson Plan” Life seems to get in the way and this will be a great help!

  6. Ronda says:

While I would love to attend many of these interesting seminars, the one that has caught my eye the most is “Smart Kids Who Hate to Write,” as I have one who really struggles in this area. I would love to hear her advice!!!

  7. Cori Sanders says:

I am definitely interested in Amanda Bennett’s session on Top Ten Tips for Successful Homeschooling.

The conference website says that, “After eighteen years of homeschooling, Amanda Bennett has collected her best tried and true tips and ideas to help you succeed.” She also does it with great humour, which always goes down a treat!

  8. Kathleen says:

I would have to say that “Top 10 Tips for Successful Homeschooling” and “Help, I Fell off My Lesson Plan” are the top two. However, they all look wonderful and encouraging.

  9. Kelly says:

It’s difficult to choose only one session I’d be interested in but because our family is moving away from the correspondence style homeschooling to the “pure” homeschooling approach with a literature based curriculum I’d have to choose the “How to Use Notebooking to Help Your Children Learn” session with Jimmie.

  10. Joy @ Five J’s says:

Oh, Resistant Learners, definitely. I’ve got a male, 90 pound, 13-year-old one of those.

  13. Kim says:

Help! I Have Fallen Off of My Lesson Plan would be my 1st choice this year, but there are so many more that I am excited about!

Thank you for the opportunity to win a ticket!

  14. JulieCC says:

I’d love to hear Helen Lee! Our family has been the “stateside” office for missionaries in Asia for 11 years. We love to do missions work locally and internationally. I think Helen’s seminar would be fantastic!
